{"id":781,"date":"2015-08-27T09:00:40","date_gmt":"2015-08-27T13:00:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/annelitwin.com\/?p=781"},"modified":"2015-08-27T09:00:40","modified_gmt":"2015-08-27T13:00:40","slug":"awareness-raising-workshops-in-all-female-retreat-settings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.annelitwin.com\/blog\/blog-posts\/awareness-raising-workshops-in-all-female-retreat-settings\/","title":{"rendered":"Awareness-Raising Workshops in All-Female Retreat Settings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t<![CDATA[&nbsp;\nOne\u00a0way to move toward understanding our differences as women\u00a0is\u00a0to meet in all-woman retreats for awareness-raising workshops.\nAfter the initial all-woman retreats to gain an awareness of systemic\u00a0gender dynamics and develop a shared vision and code of conduct (see\u00a0chapter 6), a next level of all-woman retreats, possibly in smaller, mixed\u00a0groups, can be held to explore and share differences and identify some\u00a0common goals for working together to change the organization. These\u00a0conversations work best, at least initially, when guided by a professional\u00a0facilitator who is experienced at communicating across differences.
